The primary role is to provide administrative and office support to the UITP MENA Division Office and the Centre for Transport Excellence in all functions related to office operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Handle all office functions including internal and external parties and act as the main point of contact
• Ensure compliance to UITP guidelines, protocols and procedures
• Maintain all records, including correspondence, HR, contracts, and finance
• Manage office affairs including licenses, renewals, medical insurance, etc.
• Work with and manage various suppliers
• Follow up with members, sponsors and commercial partners
• Assist in events including, preparation, logistics, and on-site support
• Assist in logistics and travel
• Maintain accounts and liaise with the main office and the bank
• Maintain all office assets and supplies


• Bachelor degree in a related field
• At least 3 years with local experience
• Knowledge of English and Arabic (Typing in both English and Arabic) – French is a plus
• Excellent communication skills including writing, and speaking
• Familiarity with day to day office functions and activities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and effective time management
• Multi-tasking with excellent organisation and ability to prioritise
• Knowledge of UAE working rules and regulations
• Ability to deal with people from diverse backgrounds in a multi-national environment
• Ability to travel when required
